About Me
Justin Craycraft is a distinguished Solution Engineer and an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin. Known widely for his expertise in Embedded Analytics, he has been with Tableau, a Salesforce-owned data visualization software company, for almost a decade. Recently, in 2022, Justin received a well-deserved promotion to Distinguished Solution Engineer. With over two decades of experience in technical and solution engineering, Craycraft has helped provide impactful and sound solutions, advice, and consultancy to senior management, technical evaluators, and C-suite executives at Global 2000 and Fortune 500 organizations. At Tableau, Justin is responsible for his role as a Solution Engineer, effectively conveying the potential of Embedded Analytics software and assisting clients in leveraging the right analytical tools to drive data-driven decisions across their organizations. Founded in 2003, Tableau stands at the forefront of the data analysis industry, providing extensive service to individuals, non-profit organizations, Fortune 500 corporations, and government agencies worldwide. Justin aims to help people understand and see their data by drawing on Tableau's advanced analytics capabilities.
Outside of his work, Justin enjoys burning barbecue, running, working out, archery, bow hunting, and mountain biking. He lives in Dripping Springs with his family, including his wife, young daughter, and a lively Australian Shepherd named Buddy. Salesforce is the owner of Tableau. The market champion in cloud-based SaaS is Salesforce. Sales, customer support, marketing automation, e-commerce, analytics, and application development are the main focuses of Salesforce's customer relationship management software and applications. In 2019, Salesforce purchased Tableau. Craycraft started working for Tableau as a solution engineer in 2014. He was elevated to Principal Solution Engineer by the firm in 2018. In 2022, he received a promotion to Distinguished Solution Engineer.
